The Meramec Valley Grotto, one of the largest caving clubs in the country, is a unique collection of nearly 100 members from all walks of life with one common passion, caves.

The origins of MVG began in the early 1970's and we have since grown and evolved into the dynamic organization that we are today.  Our success can be attirbuted to the members within the organization that have taken the extra step and volunteered to head a committee.  In addition to the committee heads, MVG is run by an elected board that handles the business of the club.
